Norman M. Eberly, class of 1924. A newspaper editor and professional writer, Mr. Eberly always valued the written word and his Dickinson education, especially since a lack of funds threatened the completion of his degree. Because Dickinson President Henry James Morgan stepped in to demonstrate the college's commitment to its students, Mr. Eberly completed his education and pursued a successful 50-year career in journalism.
